Applicant’s Record served in Senate Vacancies case
On August 31, 2015, the Applicant served a copy of the formal Application Record that will be before the Federal Court in support of the judicial review application concerning the legality of the Prime Minister’s refusal to appoint Senators to fill Senate vacancies.

The Respondents’ Record is due on September 21, 2015. It is expected to include a copy of the Affidavit of Christoper Manfredi, Transcript of Cross-Examination of Aniz Alani, the Respondents’ Memorandum of Fact and Law, and any authorities relied on not already included in the Applicant’s materials.
Following service and filing of the Respondents’ Record, a Requisition for Hearing would be prepared and filed with the Court requesting that a hearing date be set.
